About Membership

Regular Members

Regular Members include commercial television broadcasting stations, station sales representative companies, television program syndicators, and international broadcasters.

Every station that joins TVB helps make our association stronger, enabling us to put out the word about the strength of Local Broadcast Television. TVB actively promotes local media marketing solutions to the advertising community, and, in so doing, works to develop advertising dollars for the medium’s multiple platforms, including on-air, website and mobile.

Member benefits include:

  • Access to our staff of professionals, including Research, Business Development, and Marketing Insights.
  • A TVB Online password that provides access to all areas of the invaluable TVB website’s offerings, including the proprietary, Members-Only postings.
  • Invitations to TVB conferences and seminars carrying either no fee or a reduced fee rate.
  • Regular email alerts, providing timely industry research and news. Participation in periodic Members Only webcasts on important industry topics.
  • The right to be nominated and elected to various TVB committees and/or the Board of Directors of the Association.

Associate Members

Firms, partnerships, organizations or corporations (including lawyers, financial analysts, certified public accountants and other members of learned professions) may qualify for Associate Membership, at TVB’s discretion.

Associate Membership rights include access to and use of TVB resources and invitations to TVB conferences and seminars listed above. However, Associate Members are not eligible to be nominated for or to vote on elections to various TVB committees and/or the Board of Directors of the Association.
