NEW YORK, June 16, 2010—Scott Roskowski has been named Director of Business Development at the Television Bureau of Advertising, a new position, TVB announced today. Mr. Roskowski is presently Vice President of U.S. Operations for Wild TV, the leading outdoor television network in Canada.
Mr. Roskowski will report to Abby Auerbach, TVB's Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer.
"Scott has over 15 years of experience in broadcast television sales and business development. We are delighted that he is joining TVB," said Ms. Auerbach. "TVB is committed to increasing our outreach to the advertising community. With Scott on board, we are positioned to grow our sales development force and amplify our members' local media message."
Previous to his tenure at Wild TV, Mr. Roskowski spent nearly 12 years in several managerial positions while at Univision Communications - New York, NY, including: Vice President, National Sales; National Sales, Manager - Strategic Initiatives; and Director of National Sales, New Business. He began his broadcast career in National Sales as an Account Executive for Blair Television. He graduated in 1992 with a B.A. in Business Studies with a concentration in Marketing from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.
The not-for-profit Television Bureau of Advertising (www.tvb.org) is the trade association of local television broadcasters. Its members include television broadcast groups, advertising sales rep firms, and over 500 individual television stations.
