The TVB, the not-for-profit trade association of America’s commercial broadcast television industry, today issued the following statement from Hadassa Gerber, SVP, Chief Research Officer of the TVB: “Valentine’s Day is all about relationships. One of the most powerful leading up to Valentine’s Day, is the relationship between gift-giving consumers and Broadcast Television.
TVB released its TV Ratings Analysis of the 2015 NFL Playoffs and Super Bowl XLIX
which confirms that on a national basis, Broadcast Television is the leading platform for engagement with live sports events. The analysis also reveals that local market viewership for the Super Bowl consistently outpaces national viewing levels. While the NFL Playoffs and Super Bowl are frequently considered “national-only” events for advertisers, TVB’s analysis identifies many markets, in addition to home-team and host-city markets, that provide valuable local advertising opportunities for brand managers and marketers during the highest rated, live-viewing sporting events. …More >1-21-15
TVB, the not-for-profit trade association of America’s commercial broadcast television industry, announced today that Michael J. Fiorile, Vice Chairman and CEO of Dispatch Broadcast Group, has been appointed to serve as TVB Chairman for a two-year term, 2015-2016. A member of TVB’s Board of Directors since 2006, Mr. Fiorile assumes the Chairman’s position previously held by Bill Fine, who completed his two-year term at 2014 year-end.…More >12-18-14

Project Roadblock 2014 will take place during the holiday week from December 26 to December 31, a period which, according to NHTSA, typically sees one of the highest incidence rates of drunk driving fatalities.
