Maria Bartiromo

In 1995, Bartiromo became the first journalist to report live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange on a daily basis.  She has covered Wall Street for 20 years.  Bartiromo joined CNBC in 1993 after five years as a producer, writer and assignment editor with CNN Business News. Bartiromo has received numerous prestigious awards, including a 2008 News and Documentary Emmy for her “Bailout Talks Collapse” program, broadcast on NBC Nightly News; and a Gracie Award for “Greenspan: Power, Money & the American Dream,” broadcast on CNBC. She also won a second Emmy Award for her 2009 documentary, “Inside the Mind of Google,” which aired on CNBC. In 2009, the Financial Times named her one of the “50 Faces That Shaped the Decade.”  She was inducted into the Cable Hall of Fame Class of 2011, for her impact on the cable industry – the first female journalist to be inducted.  Bartiromo is the author of several books, including The Weekend That Changed Wall Street, published by Portfolio / Penguin, and The 10 Laws of Enduring Success, published by Random House; both released in 2010. Bartiromo writes a monthly column for USA Today.  She has written a weekly column for BusinessWeek and Milano Finanza, as well as monthly columns for Individual Investor, Ticker and Reader’s Digest magazines, and she has been published in the Financial Times, Newsweek, Town and Country, Registered Rep and the New York Post

He has worked on and with Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Mitsubishi, Kia, Toyota, Lexus, Renault, VW, Audi, Jaguar, Land Rover, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Proton, Fiat, Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep brands. In many cases, Ian has had global responsibilities for these brands. Ian is an Australian native who has lived outside Australia since 1993. He lives in Long Beach California with his wife Peta and two American Bulldogs.

John Brabender

John Brabender is the Chief Creative Officer and managing partner of BrabenderCox, one of the nation's premiere political media firms. John has provided his unique brand of creative political advertising to over 100 Republican candidates, including U.S. Senators Tom Coburn, David Vitter and Rick Santorum, New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Hawaii Governor Linda Lingle and Pennsylvania Attorney General Tom Corbett. He is also a frequent guest on political broadcast programs, including ABC's Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher, NPR's Talk of the Nation, CNN, the NBC Nightly News and NBC's Today Show. John is a former adjunct faculty member of the Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism at West Virginia University, where he taught courses in advertising and media. Marci Burdick

Marcia Burdick is Senior Vice President – Electronic Division for Schurz Communications, a position she's held since February 2003. Her responsibilities include supervision of 3 cable companies and 8 television stations and 13 radio stations. Other positions Burdick has held within the Schurz organization include Television VP, President/General Manager of WAGT-TV in Augusta, Georgia (June 2000-September 2002) and News Director at KYTV, Springfield, Missouri (1988 – 2000). Prior to that, she was anchor/news director at KOTA TV and KEVN TV, both in her hometown of Rapid City, South Dakota. Burdick has worked continuously in the media since age 14, beginning with an after-school job in radio. She moved into television just out of high school, working full time while carrying a full college course load.

She has won numerous awards for excellence in journalism both as a reporter and news manager. They include 2 national Edward R. Murrow Awards, many regional Murrows, 4 regional Emmy awards, the national Iris Award, the national Silver Gavel Award and several dozen state broadcast association awards. In 2010, Burdick was awarded The South Dakota Broadcast Association's "Tom Brokaw Award" for broadcast excellence. Burdick is active in the industry and the community. She is President of the TV Board of the National Association of Broadcasters, the industry's leading trade association. She is past-President/Chairman of the NBC Affiliates Association and a past chairwoman of the Radio-Television News Directors Association. She was the first woman elected to each of the offices. Locally, she serves on the boards of the South Bend Rotary Club and the Studebaker Museum.

Lorena Chambers
Chambers Lopez Strategies

Lorena Chambers is CEO of Chambers Lopez Strategies, an agency specializing in integrated social marketing and political strategies to win electoral and policy victories. The only Latina — and one of only two women — to have produced broadcast commercials for any U.S. presidential campaign, Lorena works to bridge information gaps between campaigns and voters with effective messaging programs. Lorena’s advertising in battleground states for Priorities USA, SEIU, and People For the American Way helped deliver 71% of Latino voters in the 2012 re-election of President Barack Obama. Additionally, for the 2010 midterm elections, her activities for Patriot Majority in Nevada created strategy and advertisements to re-elect U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. In October 2009, on behalf of a consortium of national civil rights organizations, Lorena developed the creative campaign for, supporting the passage of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.  And in 2008, she helped elect President Obama through targeted Hispanic messaging and advertising, while also developing the Hispanic advertising program for Mark Warner’s successful 2010 U.S. Senate campaign in Virginia. Lorena is a graduate of UCLA and the University of Michigan.

Ralph Giacobbe

Ralph Giacobbe is a Director on Credit Suisse's healthcare research team with primary coverage of Managed Care and the Healthcare Facilities and Providers sectors. He has been recognized by Institutional Investor magazine as one of the top ranked analysts in Healthcare Facilities the last four years and recognized in The Wall Street Journal’s “Best on the Street” analyst survey. Ralph joined Credit Suisse in April 2005 and has been covering Healthcare Services for over 13 years. During that span he has covered numerous sectors including, Managed Care, Clinical Laboratories, Hospitals, Outsourcing Providers, Healthcare Distributors, Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs), Homecare, Outpatient Surgery Centers, and Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs). Charles Kennedy

Charles Kennedy joins NBC Universal on September 3rd.  In his first appearance as EVP of Research for NBC Universal, Mr. Kennedy will present “Shift Happens” at TVB’s 2013 Forward Conference.
Previously, Charles Kennedy was senior vice president, Research, for the ABC Television Network. In this position he led all of ABC's research activities, including ratings analysis and forecasts, brand and program primary research, and support for sales, marketing, syndication and affiliate strategies. His oversight included all research for the ABC Family Channel and for ABC Studios. Additionally, he had responsibility for cross-platform consumer behavior research, digital, advertising and marketing initiatives. Prior to joining ABC in 2009, Mr. Kennedy was senior vice president of Research for DYG, Inc., a market research firm specializing in social trends. In this role he consulted Fortune 500 companies regarding product development, marketing and emerging trends. During his seven years with DYG, Mr. Kennedy's media clients included Meredith Communications, National Geographic, Saatchi & Saatchi, NBC, Fox and ABC. He also worked with high-profile companies such as Mercedes, Toyota, Pepsi, Johnson & Johnson, Colgate and JC Penney. Earlier in his career Mr. Kennedy spent more than a dozen years at Fox Broadcasting, where he advanced from manager of Research to vice president, Program Research. He worked on initial brand image research for Fox Kids programming, as well as on the launches of NewsCorp cable channels FX, Fox Family, Fox Sports and Fox News Channel. Mr. Kennedy has also held posts in syndicated television research at Fries Entertainment and as a ratings analyst at Lorimar-Telepictures.

JP Maheu

Mr. Maheu joined Twitter through the acquisition of Bluefin Labs where he was the CEO of the leading SocialTV analytics company. Twitter’s acquisition of Bluefin Labs led AdAge to name JP as one of the eight great digital hires of 2012.

Prior to Bluefin Labs, JP served in executive leadership positions at Razorfish, Ogilvy & Mather and Publicis Modem. He spent six years with Razorfish, where he ascended into the role of CEO for the last two years of his tenure, leading the vision, strategy and growth of the company. Following Razorfish, Maheu was the chief digital officer of Ogilvy & Mather, where he was responsible for digital growth and innovation across the company's operating units. More recently, JP was the Global CEO of Publicis Modem, the digital marketing unit of Publicis Worldwide, which is the largest agency within Publicis Groupe.

Jim Margolis

Jim Margolis, senior partner of GMMB, has worked for years at the intersection of politics, advertising and advocacy on behalf of candidates, foundations, government agencies and corporate clients.  In presidential politics, Jim served as a Senior Advisor to President Barack Obama during his 2008 and 2012 campaigns for the White House, leading advertising efforts and helping direct the campaigns as a member of the core strategic team. Nationally, he has earned one of the best win/loss records of any political consultant in the nation. Matt O’Grady

Matt O’Grady is Executive Vice President and Managing Director for Nielsen’s local media business, responsible for all local client service.  Matt works closely with clients and industry associations providing them direction and support on TV audience measurement services.  Additionally, he sets the strategy for Nielsen’s products and services to ensure continued growth for the local advertising marketplace. Previously, he was Executive Vice President of Media Product Leadership for Nielsen, responsible for all cross-platform audience measurement solutions across Nielsen’s Global Watch businesses—including the product portfolio in television, mobile and Internet.  Matt established Nielsen’s strategy for measuring viewers and content across all current and emerging platforms including new devices and distribution channels. Prior to his past decade at Nielsen, he was President of Nielsen Claritas.

Amy Parrish
Digital Media Director

Amy Parrish has served as Digital Media Director for WTHR in Indianapolis since 2010, when her role at the station increased from Digital Media Sales Director. At WTHR, she oversees digital efforts relating to content, social media, and revenue. Under her guidance, WTHR was named best website by the Indiana Associated Press in 2012. WTHR consistently leads the Indianapolis DMA in digital deliveries (according to Comscore), and dominates social media with more than 180,000 followers. Parrish joined WTHR in 2007, following her time spent as a sales representative in the cable and newspaper industries.

Marci Ryvicker is a Managing Director, Senior Equity analyst of Wells Fargo Securities, covering the media sector with specific focus on diversified entertainment, broadcast, outdoor and cable/satellite. Ms. Ryvicker began her career as a certified public accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLC. She earned her MBA degree from Harvard Business School and holds a BS in economics with a concentration in accounting from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Ms. Ryvicker is a certified public accountant and a CFA charterholder. She is also a member of the CFA Institute, the New York Society of Security Analysts, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.  Ms. Ryvicker lives in NJ with her husband and two sons.

Jonathan Schildkraut

In 2008, Mr. Schildkraut was recognized in Forbes's Best of the Brokerage Analysts awards, ranking #3 in Telecommunications. Mr. Schildkraut has been in the telecommunications industry since 1997. Prior to joining Evercore Partners, Mr. Schildkraut was a Managing Director at Jefferies, a Vice President and Equity Analyst at SG Cowen, and a Senior Associate on the Telecom Software team at Robertson Stephens. He also worked in strategic planning for Winstar Communications, and was an Investment Banker in Salomon Smith Barney's Global Telecom Practice.

Mr. Schildkraut received a JD from the Law School at NYU, an MBA cum laude from the Stern School of Business at NYU, and a BBA magna cum laude from the University of Michigan Business School.

Stacey Lynn Schulman

Stacey Lynn Schulman joined TVB as Senior Vice President, Chief Research Officer in 2012. She has conducted significant and award-winning television, interactive and social media research, including with MIT that introduced the value of what consumers create and share in their digital lives. Her work and vision in consumer expression led to Initiative’s social media practice, PropheSEE, pre-dating Facebook, Twitter and Get Glue. Ms. Schulman is a highly experienced traditional researcher, having conducted print, radio, cable and national & local broadcast research for CBS, Turner Broadcasting, DMB&B, Bozell, TN Media, Initiative and Katz Television. She’s routinely quoted in multiple media outlets, including CNN, CNBC and FOX News. She was recently honored as the Gold Medal recipient for Innovation at the ARF’s Great Mind Awards (2012).


Michael Sneed

Michael Sneed is Vice President, Global Corporate Affairs for Johnson & Johnson and a member of the Corporation’s Management Committee. In his role he leads the Corporation’s global marketing, communication, equity and philanthropy functions. He assumed his position in January 2012. Previous to this role Mr. Sneed was a Company Group Chairman for Johnson & Johnson and a member of the Medical Devices & Diagnostics Group Operating Committee.  He had primary responsibility for Johnson & Johnson’s global vision care franchise. He assumed this position in January 2007. Mr. Sneed holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a bachelor of arts’ degree, cum laude, from Macalester College. Mr. Sneed is a member of the board of trustees at Macalester College and a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of Family Service Association. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the Ad Council.

George Stephanopoulos

George Stephanopoulos serves as anchor of ABC's "Good Morning America," anchor of "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" and co-anchor of Special Events. After anchoring "This Week" from 2002 to 2010, Stephanopoulos returned to the show in January 2012. In addition to his anchor duties, Stephanopoulos is the network's chief political correspondent and has played a pivotal role in the network's coverage of breaking news stories including his Emmy award winning coverage of the 2009 presidential inauguration.  Prior to joining ABC News, Stephanopoulos served in the Clinton administration as the senior adviser to the president for policy and strategy. Stephanopoulos received his Master's degree in theology from Balliol College, Oxford University, England, where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar. (MNI), a Time Inc. division, where he was responsible for sales training, sell-through, product/partnership development, and operational management of MNI's rapidly growing Digital Media Group, specializing in locally targeted media for national and regional brands. Prior to that, he was Digital Product Supervisor for Gannett in White Plains, NY, responsible for developing, selling, and executing multi-faceted digital media plans.
