| September 2005 -- Katz Television Group today announced the launch of TVinvoices.com, a new electronic television invoice delivery system. This new service will provide registered agencies with the ability to easily retrieve television invoices from a secure facility for more efficient processing. Jim Beloyianis, President of Katz Television Group, said, "We are committed to facilitating the buy and sell process for our spot television station clients and agency customers and TVinvoices.com is an integral step in making that happen. A broad adoption of this service would certainly benefit all who participate. TVinvoices.com is currently being used by two of our TV station client groups, Clear Channel and the New York Times, and will be available to all of our clients within the next two months. In addition, we would encourage the rep community to make this the "one-stop solution" for our customers." Katz Media Group's CIO, David Prager had this to say. "Although there are electronic invoicing systems available currently, most TV stations don't make extensive use of them because of the high maintenance involved. With TVinvoices.com, however, the Katz TV Group will manage the maintenance of National agency information on behalf of our stations and that will increase the overall participation. Additionally, we verify that every National invoice contains the data that allows the agency computer systems to process them without manual intervention. Reducing the processing time at the agencies helps to reduce the time before payment occurs." "We are offering this service as a "value-add" to our core business," added Beloyianis. "As such, we will keep the costs to our stations to the absolute minimum with a flat annual fee and avoid any per invoice charge. Rather than viewing the fee collection from this service as a new revenue stream, the real benefit for all of us will come from making spot television more user-friendly and allowing our agency customers to plan our medium more efficiently."
