| June 2005 -- Tribune Broadcasting, ITN, and Harris Corporation have successfully pushed forward the use of the TVB-developed Open Standards. Through joint development of ITN and Harris, Tribune has received electronically over 900 orders from ITN to 14 different Tribune television stations over two days, according to Tonina Grisanti, Director of Broadcast Operations for Tribune Broadcasting. These orders arrive electronically at the Tribune stations and are delivered directly into the traffic system for approval. "This marks another major step in the overall E-Business Initiative and significantly cuts down the time and improves the accuracy of the entire Order Process for our stations," she said. "We will continue to develop this process for all of our 26 stations' local business. In addition, we will be working with any other agencies, and our national reps (TeleRep, HRP, and MMT) in order to take full advantage of electronic ordering capabilities." Bob Duncan, Senior Vice President of Sales for Harris Corporation indicates "We are very pleased with the results of this joint effort. The years of hard work by the TVB related to trading standards are now producing tangible results for our industry. We are excited about expanding the scope of this effort with ITN and Tribune to our other station and agency clients."
