Jeff Boehme
SVP, TV & Cross-Platform Research, Comscore

Jeff helps to define and propel advanced metrics and methods to improve how television is planned, executed and sold. He works directly with clients to ensure Comscore’s products and services are best serving their needs while also developing innovative insights into how media drives consumer behavior. Most recently serving as Chief Client Officer at Rentrak, and Chief Research Officer at Kantar Media Audiences before that, Jeff brings extensive experience in the field of advanced analytics. Angela Betasso

Angela served as Tribune’s Chief Revenue Officer from January 2016. She was responsible for the strategic management and leadership of all top-line revenue for Tribune Broadcasting’s 42 owned or operated TV stations, including digital revenue and multicast networks, totaling over $1.4B. Prior to joining Tribune Broadcasting as SVP of Sales, Betasso worked at Gannett & Belo Corp as VP of Sales. Angela has also held several executive management positions at WFAA-TV. Betasso is a member of the TVB Executive Board and has been awarded numerous media honors including: the 2012 American Women in Media Silver Award of Excellence and Television Week’s 2008 TV Managers of the Year Award for SW Region.

Bryan Biniak
CEO, Connected Travel

Bryan is the CEO and founder of Connected Travel, a connected vehicle platform and application services company that, together with Honda Innovations, recently launched a first-of-its-kind mobile infotainment, commerce, and rewards platform and the auto industry’s first consumer application system to gamify the driving and riding experience. Julie Bykowicz
National Political Reporter, The Wall Street Journal

Julie Bykowicz is a national political reporter, focusing on money and influence in Washington. She has covered money in politics, including three presidential campaigns and the White House, since 2011, first for Bloomberg News and later for The Associated Press. Before that, she spent a decade as a crime and state politics reporter in Baltimore. She joined the Journal in October 2017.

Prior to joining Future, Bill was one of three lead executives who launched First Look Media, served as Editor-in-Chief of Entertainment Weekly Digital at Time Inc, led digital media for Lucasfilm, and was the Senior Editorial Director of Yahoo where he led all content strategy and operations. Hadassa Gerber

Hadassa Gerber was named Chief Research Officer of TVB in June 2014. She joined TVB from the Syndicated Network Television Association (SNTA), where she served as the Director of Research and Systems for 12 years. Hilton H. Howell Jr.
Executive Chairman and CEO, Gray Television

Hilton H. Howell Jr. has had multiple executive roles with Gray Television since 1993 and is Executive Chairman and CEO since 2018. In addition to his role at Gray Television, he also serves as Chairman of the Board, President and CEO of Atlantic American Corporation. Hilton brings over 25 years of experience in both the broadcast and insurance industries. Hilton served on the board of directors of the National Association of Broadcasters from 2016 to 2019. A former member of the NBC Affiliate Board, Howell serves on the Advisory Council for the Center for Leadership and Ethics for the University of Texas at Austin.

George Ivie
CEO & Executive Director, Media Rating Council

George is the Executive Director and CEO of the Media Rating Council, a not-for-profit industry organization created in 1963 at the request of the U.S. Congress to assure high ethical and operational standards in audience measurement services. Mr. Ivie's background includes 30 years of experience in media research auditing, oversight and consulting. Prior to being appointed the Executive Director of the MRC in January 2000, George was a partner at Ernst & Young and their lead representative and advisor to the MRC, conducting all MRC audits and interacting with MRC management and member organizations.

Brett Jenkins

Brett Jenkins oversees the company’s IT and technology functions for both broadcast and digital businesses. He joined Nexstar as part of the Media General acquisition where he was Vice President, Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Jenkins has been active in industry standardization groups across all areas of broadcast technology including serving two terms on the Board of the Advanced Television Systems Committee while the ATSC 3.0 standard was being developed.

Ted Kramer

Ted began his career at TeleRep in 1997 after graduating from SUNY Oswego, where he played soccer and earned a degree in Communications. As a very proud graduate of Dick Waller’s training program, Ted has spent the last 20+ years in sales and sales management at Fox Stations Sales, WTFX Philadelphia, WPIX NY, MSG and Time Warner. In 2016 Ted was introduced to ProVantageX. After seeing how intelligent automation and optimization had helped bring scale and profit to the ITN unwired business, Ted was eager to begin a new chapter at PVX.

Steve Lanzano

Steve Lanzano is President and CEO of TVB. Steve joined TVB as president on January 1, 2010. He came to the association from MPG U.S., where he was the chief operating officer. Previously he was the CEO of Mediaedge:cia, responsible for overseeing the agency’s operations across the U.S. and Canada, and global media director at sister agency Mindshare, where he was responsible for the American Express business.

Dan Lyons
President, SureWaves

Dan Lyons is the President of SureWaves, a TV ad technology company, which owns 50 technology patents and is globally pioneering media automation and artificial intelligence for TV stations worldwide. Currently, Dan owns two companies, EZAY Media, a media consultation firm and Tiny Giants, a plumbing company serving the greater Washington D.C. metroplex. Previously, Dan spent 12 years with Clear Channel as a Local and General Sales Manager. He worked as Vice President of Sales for the New York Times Broadcast Group, and VP/SVP of Sales Strategy and Development for TEGNA.

Leo MacCourtney
President, Katz Television Group; Chairman, TVB Board of Directors

In his role as President, Leo focuses on driving TV business development, both linear and digital, while overseeing the overall strategic sales direction for the company. Under Leo’s leadership, Katz Television Group serves over 70% of the country, covering 188 of the 210 markets. Leo’s extensive background in media advertising began when he joined WERE radio in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1981, Leo left radio to join Blair Television as an account executive. He was promoted to President and CEO of Blair Television in 1998, a position he held for nine years. In 2007, Leo joined Katz Television Group. In March of 2012, Leo was appointed President of the Katz Television Group. Leo is currently the Chairman of TVB.

Eric Mathewson
Founder & CEO, WideOrbit

Eric founded WideOrbit in 1999 after realizing that there was an opportunity to dramatically streamline and automate the buying and selling of media. Prior to founding WideOrbit, Eric worked at Montgomery Securities in San Francisco and New York, managing portfolios for wealthy technologists, as well as Kidder Peabody in Palo Alto, primarily focused on Equity Derivatives. Eric has been an active private equity technology investor since 1994 and maintains controlling ownership of WideOrbit. WideOrbit serves as the System of Record for more than 5000 stations and cable networks worldwide processing more than $35 billion in advertising revenue annually.

Will Offeman
Chief Product Officer, WideOrbit

Will joined WideOrbit in 2000 and leads the strategy, design and development for all products, including the flagship WO Traffic software, extended solutions for demand aggregation, digital proposal and order management, digital ad serving, and payments/collections. On a daily basis, he leverages decades of experience with TV and radio broadcasters, national cable networks, and digital publishers to inform WideOrbit’s product roadmaps. Steve Passwaiter
Vice President and General Manager, Kantar CMAG

Steve Passwaiter is Vice President and General Manager for CMAG, Kantar’s political advertising intelligence unit located in Washington, DC. Steve joined Kantar/CMAG in 2015 and has experience in broadcast sales management, consulting and media research. Prior to joining Kantar Media, Steve was a Board Advisor to Sportsdigita, a digital sports marketing firm, and VP, Business Development for BIA/Kelsey. Steve’s broadcast career includes newspaper, radio and TV experience including leading the local sales staffs at WDCA-TV and WUAB-TV.

Mark Putnam

Mark has created some of the most talked-about political ads of the last decade. As one of President Obama's lead ad-makers, Mark has also helped elect 11 governors, 10 U.S. senators and dozens of U.S. Representatives. Karthik Rao
Chief Product & Technology Officer, Nielsen Global Media

Karthik Rao leads the International Media product and technology teams. He was appointed to this role in January 2019. During his time at Nielsen, Karthik has held a variety of leadership roles spanning the U.S., Middle East and Asia for Nielsen’s Connect and Media businesses. Most recently, Karthik was the President of Nielsen Portfolio, where he led the Nielsen Entertainment, Nielsen Gracenote, Nielsen Brandbank and Nielsen Telecom businesses across all global markets. Previously, he led Gracenote during its acquisition and integration by Nielsen. Earlier in his career, Karthik was EVP of Digital Enablement, where he oversaw a global transformation program. He also led Nielsen’s Media Analytics business. As head of Nielsen China, Karthik oversaw the company’s initiatives towards China becoming one of the company’s fastest-growing markets for Nielsen.

Marci Ryvicker

Anne Schelle

Pearl TV is a business alliance of 8 of the larger broadcast TV companies with a shared interest in exploring forward-looking opportunities, including innovative ways of promoting local TV content and developing digital media and wireless platforms for the broadcast industry. Anne has more than two decades of wireless
and media industry experience. She was founder and President of APS Connext and served as senior advisor to the NAB and as Executive Director of the Open Mobile Video Coalition. Anne was a founding management team member for several companies, including the nation’s first commercial digital cellular network. Anne currently services on the Board of the Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) and is working on the advancement of the new Next Gen TV standards.

Lisa Sherman

Under her tenure, the Ad Council has launched dozens of multi-platform campaigns on issues ranging from gun safety to the opioid crisis to diversity and inclusion. Greta Van Susteren

Greta Van Susteren is currently Chief National Political Analyst and host of Full Court Press for Gray TV. She is the anchor of Voice of America weekly TV program Plugged In about foreign policy, which airs worldwide. Formerly an anchor at CNN, Fox News Channel and MSNBC, Greta has interviewed many world leaders including Presidents Jimmy Carter, Clinton, Bush, Obama, Trump and many others. She has also interviewed prominent foreign leaders, business leaders and figures in the entertainment and sports world. Before her journalism career, Van Susteren was a practicing lawyer, representing various clients in civil and criminal cases during her career as a trial attorney.

Deborah Wahl
Global Chief Marketing Officer, General Motors

Deborah Wahl was appointed General Motors Global Chief Marketing Officer on September 1, 2019. She previously served as the Global CMO of Cadillac, where she was an instrumental part of the leadership team that accomplished a global sales record for Cadillac in 2018. Jordan Wertlieb
President, Hearst Television

Jordan Wertlieb is President of Hearst Television and a Director of Hearst Corporation. He moved to the company's New York City headquarters as Executive Vice President in January 2011 after serving since 2005 as President and General Manager of WBAL, Hearst Television's NBC affiliate serving Baltimore, Maryland. He has management oversight responsibility for Hearst TV stations, digital properties and two radio stations across 26 U.S. markets. Wertlieb began his television career in 1986 as a research analyst at Katz Communications in New York. He became a television sales account executive at Katz in 1989, representing television stations of Hearst Broadcasting as well as other leading station groups. Wertlieb serves as the Chairman of the National Association of Broadcasters’ (NAB) Board of Directors, is a member of the A+E Television Networks Board as well as a member of the Broadcasters Foundation of America Board and is a Past President-Chairman of the NBC Affiliate Board. He was the 2017 recipient of the TVB’s Broadcaster of the Year Award and is a Member of the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame.

Shereta Williams

Shereta brings two decades of professional and industry experience to Videa. As President, Shereta leads the organization’s overall strategic and product direction. Shereta has over ten years of experience with Cox in various investment, strategy and development roles focused on digital media and broadcast TV. Prior to Videa, she served as Managing Director at a financial start-up focused on algorithmic trading, and she began her career in Mergers and Acquisitions at Lazard.
