He has management oversight responsibility for Hearst TV stations, digital properties and two radio stations across 26 U.S. markets. Wertlieb began his television career in 1986 as a research analyst at Katz Communications in New York. He became a television sales account executive at Katz in 1989, representing television stations of Hearst Broadcasting as well as other leading station groups.
