Byron Allen

In 1993, comedian, producer, media mogul, and philanthropist Byron Allen founded his Los Angeles-based global media company, Entertainment Studios. Allen now owns one of the largest cable network portfolios in the industry, featuring ten, 24-hour HD TV networks. Further distinguishing Entertainment Studios is its status as the first African-American owned multi-platform media studio producing and distributing wide-release motion pictures and content for all platforms. Brian Allers

Currently the SVP, Business Development, for TVB, Brian’s background includes over 20 years in marketing and advertising. In his role with TVB, Brian works with local broadcast stations and ownership groups by traveling the country and presenting to advertisers on how to grow their business through the right allocation media dollars. Peter Bradbury

Brett Hughes

Justin is responsible for a team that provides proactive media insights and thought leadership to Nielsen’s local media clients. He is also the author of Nielsen's recurring Local WATCH Report, and works closely with key client industry groups to help educate, and inform on the evolving media landscape. Prior to Nielsen, Justin worked at Turner Broadcasting and ESPN in various production and sales roles.

Brian Lin
Chief Product Officer, MadHive

Bob Liodice

As Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice Chairman for Comscore, Bill Livek’s passion for the media industry spurs him to be a driving force for innovation in consumer and audience measurement. Previously, Mr. Livek also served as the Executive Vice Chairman & President of Comscore, as well as Vice Chairman & Chief Executive Officer at Rentrak, Co-President of Experian Research Services, Co-Chair/Co-Owner of Simmons Market Research Bureau, Co-Founder of Transactional Data Solutions (an LLC with MasterCard), Vice President of Sales/Marketing for Arbitron and was a principal shareholder in Birch Research, which was later integrated into Scarborough Research, where he served as President and CEO. Alex Lundry

Dan Lyons

Dan Lyons is the President of SureWaves Inc., a TV ad technology company, which owns 50 technology patents and is globally pioneering artificial intelligence and sales operations automation for TV stations worldwide. Dan is an entrepreneur, owning a media consultation company and home contracting company that services residents in the greater Washington D.C. metroplex. Dan’s media experience is broad. Most recently he served six years as SVP of Sales Strategy and Development for TEGNA, four years as Vice President of Sales for the former New York Times Broadcast Group and eleven years in various stations and sales management positions with Clear Channel Communications.

Leo MacCourtney
President, Katz Television Group; Chairman, TVB Board of Directors

In his role as President, Leo focuses on driving TV business development, both linear and digital, while overseeing the overall strategic sales direction for the company. Under Leo’s leadership, Katz Television Group serves over 70% of the country, covering 188 of the 210 markets. Leo’s extensive background in media advertising began when he joined WERE radio in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1981, Leo left radio to join Blair Television as an account executive. He was promoted to President and CEO of Blair Television in 1998, a position he held for nine years. In 2007, Leo joined Katz Television Group. In March of 2012, Leo was appointed President of the Katz Television Group. Leo is currently the Chairman of TVB.

Shawn Makhijani
SVP, Business Development & Strategy, NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations and SVP, NBC Spot On

Shawn Makhijani is the Senior Vice President of Business Development and Strategy for NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations, and NBC Spot On – the owned stations division’s new advanced video advertising business designed for local/regional CTV and OTT advertisers. In this role, Makhijani runs the NBC Spot On business, the division’s new advanced advertising venture, and handles sales strategy for NBCU’s local and regional sales arm. He is also responsible for all aspects of business development across the division. This includes 42 NBC and Telemundo stations and their associated digital platforms, regional news network NECN, a robust digital out-of-home group, in-house production, marketing and promotions companies, national multicast networks COZI TV and TeleXitos. Makhijani joined NBCU in 2007. Before this, he held business development positions at AOL, TellMe Networks, Excite@Home, Twentieth Century Fox and Indo American Enterprises. In addition, he worked in M&A and Equity Capital Markets for JP Morgan.

Robert Malcolm
Chief Marketing Officer, Imagine Communications

Rob is responsible for Imagine's go-to-market strategy across the entire product portfolio. Before joining Imagine, Rob held the CMO/VP Marketing position at CLX Communications AB, a publicly listed Software/SaaS provider. Jodie McAfee
SVP, Marketing & Strategy, VIZIO Platform

Jodie McAfee is Senior Vice President of Marketing and Strategy for VIZIO. Jodie has led the strategic execution for advanced video advertising, interactive TV and content acquisition initiatives for more than two decades. A media and marketing veteran, Jodie previously led sales and marketing for Inscape, a subsidiary of VIZIO and leading provider of automatic content recognition (ACR) technologies. Prior to Inscape, Jodie was General Manager at Samsung AdHub, where he led the development and introduction of Samsung’s multi-screen advertising platform across US and European markets, while overseeing many of Samsung’s partnerships with major agencies and Fortune 500 brands both domestically and internationally. Karine McMaster oversees Advanced Local Media across all clients within the DentsuAegis Network. Karine has been instrumental in utilizing her extensive media activation expertise of over 35+ years to help develop the vision, mission and business development of advanced local TV automation practices within Amplifi USA. Karine has been a key contributor and leader, responsible for collaborating with vendors in helping to design, execute and measure local advanced TV campaigns within the automated space.

Will Offeman

Frank Perez

I started in Automotive sales back in 1987. A good friend of mine talked me into trying it for 30 days and since than I never looked backed. I have seen this car business go through the Junk bond crash, Dotcom bubble, Housing Market Crash and now through COVID. After the Housing Crash I promised myself that I would be prepared for the next one. I thrive on all the challenges and excitement that this business has to offer.

Parker Hamilton Poling
Executive Director, National Republican Congressional Committee

Parker Hamilton Poling was named Executive Director of the NRCC in January 2019, charged with the mission of regaining the Republican majority. She had previously served as Chief of Staff to Chief Deputy Whip Patrick McHenry from 2007 to 2018. Prior to McHenry’s selection as Chief Deputy Whip in 2014, Parker was the Chief of Staff in his personal office. As Chief of Staff, she helped him develop from a junior Member to become a member of leadership and finally, Ranking Member of the House Financial Services Committee. She served as Executive Director of the College Republican National Committee from 1999 to 2001. She was Assistant to the Director of Media Affairs in the White House in the administration of President George W. Bush and served as Communications Coordinator on the House Committee on Education and the Workforce. She has also worked for the Leadership Institute and several political campaigns. In 2018, she was named to Politico Playbook’s PowerList: Women to Watch.

Kurt Rao
Senior Vice President & Chief Technology Officer

Kurt Rao serves as the senior vice president and chief technology officer at TEGNA and is charged with working across TEGNA to drive the development and implementation of the company's next-generation client and customer technology solutions in the areas of content, advertising, data and insights and media distribution. Previously, Rao was chief information and technology officer for Time Inc., where he led the transformation and growth of the media publishing organization into a digital content platform company. In addition, he optimized technology operations across the organization and built platforms to support content across video and digital, while enhancing consumer data analytics.

Bruce Roberts
President, WideOrbit

Bruce joined WideOrbit in 2000 and oversees all client-facing departments, including sales, operations, account management and support. Bruce is a broadcast TV veteran who joined WideOrbit after more than 15 years with the ABC Owned and Operated Television Division. Prior to WideOrbit, Bruce was Executive Vice President of Sales for Before Salon, Bruce was General Sales Manager for KGO-TV in San Francisco as well as Sales Manager for KABC-TV in Los Angeles. Bruce began his career in media working for HRP and Blair.

Robin D. Roberts
President, National Media Group

Mr. Roberts oversees National Media Group, a family of companies focusing on providing research, planning and placement services to corporate, political, association and issue-advocacy clients. In 2009, Mr. Roberts founded the Washington Media Scholars Foundation, a 501 (c)3 organization that has provided over 630 undergraduate students nationwide with academic, scholarship, and career opportunities who are interested in the public affairs advertising industry. A native of South Carolina, Mr. Roberts received a degree in Journalism from the University of South Carolina. He currently serves as president of the USC Alumni Association and is a member of the USC Board of Trustees.

Karl Rove
Former Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to President George W. Bush

Karl Rove, an iconic political strategist and one of the most sought-after political pundits of our time, is best known for his provocative and robust knowledge of the major political issues of the day. Rove served as Senior Advisor to President George W. Bush from 2000–2007 and Deputy Chief of Staff from 2004–2007. At the White House he oversaw the Offices of Strategic Initiatives, Political Affairs, Public Liaison, and Intergovernmental Affairs and was Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy, coordinating the White House policy-making process. Chaitanya Upadhyay

He leads the company's partnerships and initiatives with major broadcasters across the country, enabling their sales organizations to demonstrate TV ad effectiveness and ROI to local advertisers. Prior to joining Alphonso, Chaitanya co-founded a startup in the IoT space for in-home device analytics, where he served as the company's chief architect. He has also worked as both a software developer and product manager in various companies, including Microsoft and Citrix.

Matt VanDyke

Matt VanDyke is responsible for building the Ford brand in the US. Since 2018, VanDyke has been leading integrated communications, digital consumer experience, brand alliances, revenue management and retail go-to market strategies. Steve Walsh

As Atari CEO, Jim transitioned the business from retail distributor to digital publisher, leading to its sale. He also founded Universal Studios’ successful games business.
