What You Need to Know

Nielsen’s Comparable Metrics Report is meant to eliminate confusion around definitions and terminology across mediums and provide clarity in the form of “apples to apples” metrics designed to address three critical questions media researchers face:

  • HOW MANY adults across a given platform or content type in an average week
  • HOW OFTEN users access that content (expressed as days per week)
  • HOW LONG adults spend engaging with the content
