TVB developed a new study to better understand media device usage\, with the hope that its findings\, while interesting\, will also help inform and improve the measurement of TV audiences. This 4\,000 respondent study was implemented by the well-regarded research company GfK. \n\n\n\nSome examples of what the study explores: \n\n\n\nNielsen meters\, especially PPM\, rely heavily on audio signals to determine program viewing\, but does everyone watch with the sound on?
