Salisbury, MD

Salisbury, is a city in southeastern Maryland, U.S. It is the county seat of Wicomico County and the largest city in the state’s Eastern Shore region. Trade, transportation, and utilities is the largest employment sector followed by education, and health service. Government is third, then professional and business services, leisure and hospitality, and manufacturing. Piedmont Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of US Airways Group, Inc., is headquartered in Salisbury. The airline has 450 pilots, 240 flight attendants, and 2,100 in the customer service department. Perdue Incorporated is also headquartered in Salisbury and has 400 local employees and more than 20,000 employees nationally.
