Youngstown is a city in the state of Ohio and the county seat of Mahoning County. Youngstown is home to companies such as Forum Health, General Motors, Severstal Warren, West Corp., AK Steel, Sawhill Tubular, American Steel Foundries, AVI Food Service, Delphi Automotive, General Electric, and Thomas Steel Strip. The largest employment sector is trade, transportation, and utilities with 45,300 employees. Youngstown is in the middle of the “Techbelt” which runs from Cleveland to Pittsburgh. The Ohio and Pennsylvania governments have created initiative to transform the economy to focus on technology. More than $600 million has been invested by the Ohio Third Frontier Initiative.
